As an IT Project Manager, you will independently lead projects aimed at delivering operational and strategic enhancements within the organisation.

As an IT Project Manager, you will:

  • Partner with internal and external project stakeholders for successful delivery.  
  • Create project documentation, aligned with the Business IT & Digital Delivery (BITDD) Project Delivery Framework.
  • Drive projects to successful completion while managing scope, cost, time, and quality.
  • Manage and deliver a range of projects such as digital transformation, IT hardware replacement, system upgrades, and other IT asset replacements.

Based in Brisbane, you will be joining the Business IT & Digital Delivery group as part of the IT Portfolio team. This team thrives on a culture of high performance, where each member’s dedication to excellence is complemented by a strong emphasis on collaboration, ultimately fostering a dynamic and achievement-oriented environment.

Your expertise

Degree level qualification in a relevant field such as Computer Systems, Information Technology, Business, or Engineering, or significant industry experience in project management of IT projects.

You will have a minimum of 3-5 years of successfully managing IT projects within a large organisation. You’ll bring your experience in project management and knowledge of project management methodologies, processes and controls.

You will be skilled in managing stakeholders, ensuring control over project scope, securing resources, and maintaining commitment.
