Internode and its new parent company iiNet have taken out first and second place respectively in Roy Morgan’s Internet Service Provider Customer Satisfaction survey.

 

Scoring 94 per cent customer satisfaction, Internode led the nine member group, with iiNet scoring a close 91 per cent. Optus scored 80 per cent, while Telstra remained unchanged at 72 per cent.  

 

“Different Internet Service Providers attract different customers; and increasing satisfaction requires a solid understanding of customer needs,” Andrew Braun, Director Mobile, Internet and Technology, Roy Morgan Research said.

 

Based on its survey of more than 6000 Australian Internet customers during the six months to November 2011, Roy Morgan Research reported an overall industry satisfaction rate of 75 per cent.
