Mike Foster, managing director of Fujitsu’s subsidiary Kaz, has been announced as the new chief executive at Fujitsu Australia New Zealand (FANZ).

 

Mr Foster’s appointment follows the recent promotion of former CEO Rod Vawdrey to President of Fujitsu’s Global Business Group.

 

Prior to joining Fujitsu in July 2009, Foster spent nine years in senior executive positions at Telstra, including Managing Director, Business Sales, and more recently as Chief Executive Officer, KAZ Group. Before joining Telstra, he was Managing Director, EMC, Australia/New Zealand and Managing Director, NCR Australia.

 

In the last few years FANZ has made significant local investments in new technology areas including data centres, cloud services, application development and managed services.
