Software that stands to save billions of dollars and significantly cut greenhouse emissions has won the Australian Innovation Challenge ICT category award.

 

The Intelligent Fleet Logistics Indigo Solver, invented by National ICT Australia, calculates the most efficient routing and scheduling for firms to ensure productivity and efficiency.

 

The program uses advanced artificial intelligence to address growing complexities in the field, including more vehicles on the road and other changing variables.
