The National Broadband Network (NBN) is increasingly popular with the voting public, with 69 per cent of people lending their support to the largest infrastructure project in the nation’s history.

Only 20 per cent of respondents to an Essential Vision survey said they did not approve, while 11 per cent remained undecided.

Respondents aged 18-24 were more likely to support the NBN (77%), as were those aged between 25-34 (79%).

63 per cent of respondents also felt that in the event that the Coalition won the next election, they should not repeal the NBN, while 54 per cent believed the Coalition wouldn’t if it won power.
