TPG opens superfast Singapore connection
Internet Service Provider TPG has launched its new 1Gbps link between Sydney and Singapore for its business customers who need superfast and reliable access between the two points.
The service, which comes with a $6,500 price tag, is poised to take the market by storm according to TPG’s Corporate Sales Manager Wayne Springer.
“This is the most cost effective and aggressive pricing we know of in the market place. Our customers have been looking for a cost effective solution into Asia for a long time now. It is significantly cheaper than what many are paying for bandwidth between Sydney and Perth,” Mr Springer said.
The traffic is delivered via TPG’s owned PPC-1 submarine cable from Meet-Me-Room facilities in Sydney and then switched to Singapore where it terminates at a Meet-Me-Room facility in a data centre in Singapore.
