ICT Support Officer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Officer to join our Finance and IT team. Reporting into the Service Desk Team Lead you will be responsible for providing technical support to users in respect to IT hardware, software and networks to all areas of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Record and respond to all incoming helpdesk requests as per ITIL/ITSM framework
- Support Office 365 including exchange online, Teams, Intune, and Defender
- Support Azure including IAAS, NSG, Conditional Access, Microsoft Entra, express route, AVD
- Identify and access management and conducting periodic privileged access reviews
- Provide L2 and L3 technical support to internal staff and external contractors.
- Build images and validation of standard operating environment (SOE)
- User onboarding and offboarding
- Setup and troubleshooting of mobile, Teams for audio and video conferencing
- Support and maintain VLAN network infrastructure such as switches and access points
- Asset management and tracking of all IT hardware and software
- Perform on-call out of hours support as required
- Achieving targets for average resolution time and number of active helpdesk requests.
- Delivery of goals on target (time, budget, quantity – as prescribed in annual performance plan)
- Achievement in corporate governance performance
- Achievement in continuous improvement processes and outcomes
- Achievement in enhancement of business relationships
- Efficient and competent performance of all duties
- Consistent compliance with all standards relating to Safety Quality and Process
You will have:
- 2 years of previous experience in supporting IT services in a manufacturing environment
- ITIL foundation certification
- A recent Microsoft Certification with Office 365 is advantageous
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 Operating Systems
- Experienced with virtualisation platforms and Azure
- Experienced with managing key server roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
- Experienced with managing network switches and access points
- Experienced with using automation and RMM tools
- Excellent communication (verbal writing). presentation and negotiation skills
- Driving licence and reliable car
