This newly created role will be an integral part of our new Personalisation team. Reporting to the Head of Personalisation you'll liaise with stakeholders across the business and take the customer led strategy and turn strategic vision into building actionable customer segments via the Customer Data Platform (CDP) for Lotteries.

Following a governance framework, you'll be creating consistent customer segments for use within owned and external touch-points by leveraging first party customer data and external interactional data from digital analytics tools. You will be responsible for managing and measuring the effectiveness of customer segments created via the CDP. You will also provide subject matter expertise to the wider marketing team providing insights/recommendations for customer segments along with managing test & control groups across channels for an always optimising methodology.

What you'll do

  • Manage customer audience creation and value realisation via the CDP
  • Own audience usage for TLC digital marketing activations via the CDP
  • Monitor, analyse and report on the effectiveness of audiences created via the Adobe RT-CDP
  • Be the centre of knowledge understanding the value of each customer segment within the CDP
  • Communicate with internal and external data stakeholders to find relevant data for campaign activations
  • Generate customer journey insights and share audiences across multiple touch points
  • Advise stakeholders on data driven marketing activities, provide input on their data strategy and potential outcomes

What you'll bring

  • Experience with Digital Marketing & Analytics tools to target customers for digital campaign activations
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to identify insight needs and agreeing on digital data sets
  • Demonstrated experience as a business lead managing a CDP/DMP instance, managing segment on-boarding, data integrations and providing strategic support to the business and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience optimising marketing technology solutions in a large & complex environment.
  • A high level of attention to detail and confidence in working directly with business stakeholders
  • Experience playing a support role for digital analytics, troubleshooting complex issues and making recommendations
  • The ability to work well in a team, be approachable and able to reach out to peers
