We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cyber Security Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This 12-month contract role offers an exciting opportunity to lead several key streams within a large Cyber Security Program, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Mobile Uplift,  Risk Management, Asset Management, and Education & Awareness amongst many other security initiatives. 

This role can be located at any of our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney CBD offices. Our flexible, hybrid work environment combines remote work with regular on-site requirements, ensuring in-office presence as needed to meet project deliverables. Please note that this role will be engaged as a contractor working on assignment at The Lottery Corporation through Hudson RPO.

What you'll do

  • Manage and execute multiple security projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, subject matter experts, and users to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, providing accurate and timely reports on project status.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, mitigations, and opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise-wide policies, processes, and standards throughout project execution.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience managing complex security projects in regulated environments, with a solid understanding of cyber security standards (ISM, ASD, NIST, ISO27001).
  • Solid hands-on experience in one or more areas: DLP, IAM, Mobile Uplift, Risk Management, Asset Management, or Education & Awareness.
  • Experience collaborating with delivery partners, especially in regulated industries, and managing shared resources balancing project work with BAU responsibilities.
  • Project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and strong business acumen with sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, conflict management, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
