Due to the company’s growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic and highly skilled senior IT Manager.

The IT Manager will be positioned within the leadership team and work across the Medcan Group entities. The IT Manager is accountable for leading the IT team, providing strategic, managerial and operational IT services across all commercial platforms. Drive and manage strategic planning across IT functions and platforms, address operational issues in a timely proactive manner. Drive continuous improvements across all entities under the Medcan Group, maintain and surpass commercial positioning across IT functions, advise on continuous improvement and commercially beneficial practices

To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate the following experience and attributes in a cover letter and attach long side your resume: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are highly desired.
• Proven experience in a strategical and operational managerial position, managing company IT team and commercial needs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects across varied company IT functions
• Experience in driving digital transformation projects, including the adoption of cloud technologies, data analytics, automation, and enterprise software.
• Proven technical expertise in solution architecture and scalable system design, and strong knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive business growth and proven experience in creating & implementing structured engineering processes.
