Change Manager - Network Modernisation

We are actively sourcing an experienced Change Manager to join our Digital & Technology (D&T) Network Modernisation Project Team in St Vincent's Health Australia. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that changes to business processes, systems and technology are implemented smoothly and efficiently. You will plan, coordinate, and manage the change process, reducing delays and ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged and supportive.

This position is Fixed Term Full Time, available on a 12 month contract and is available in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintain effective relationships and provide regular updates to the Project Executive and the business owners
  • Engage, connect, and manage project stakeholders so that project(s) can benefit from synergies and economies of scale thus reducing implementation
  • Develop and execute change management strategies tailored to the network modernisation project
  • Conduct detailed impact analyses to understand the effects of network changes on various departments and operations
  • Identify key stakeholders and create comprehensive communication plans to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
  • Design and implement communication strategies to inform stakeholders about the benefits, impacts, and timelines of the network modernization
  • Develop and distribute communication materials, such as newsletters, emails, presentations, and FAQs
  • Facilitate regular update meetings and briefings to address concerns and gather feedback
  • In conjunction with the Portfolio Programme Delivery Manager, ensure that projects are carried out with the appropriate SVHA Change methodology and governance to help deliver successful projects on time
  • Guide the project change, communication and customer focus strategies whilst ensuring project plans are effectively deployed and the organisation is engaged and kept well informed

Things that work for us:

  • Technical Change and/or Project Management experience with a focus on Information Communication Technology or network infrastructure projects - minimum 10+ years
  • Proven success managing large scale change initiatives and projects in a similar, large and complex organisation - preferably within Healthcare sector
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated track record in applying Change Management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Ability to manage, guide, and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail in a high pressure environment
