Technical Support Engineer

This major Government Department is looking for multiple support engineers across a range of tech stacks

These are 12 month, full time contracts with strong chance of extensions, located Melbourne CBD, 2 days WFH each week.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold valid workrights (no sponsorship offered)
 
Responsibilities:

  • Technical support
  • Managing incidents and escalations with help of vendors
  • Monitoring system performance
  • Knowledge management
  • Code fix/patches
  • Fix/code update documentation
  • Ticket status

Required skills:

  • Must hold valid workrights (no sponsorship offered)
  • Experience with one or all of:
    • Databricks and python
    • Databricks on AWS and python
    • Python - Dagster UI (.NET)
    • SaaS / VSE
  • Demonstrated experience in a technical support engineering role within a major organisation
  • Strong communication skills
