Chisholm is seeking an experienced SharePoint & .NET Developer for our Information Technology & Services team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
 
As a SharePoint & .NET Developer, your key responsibilities include: 
  • Responsible for developing and delivering high-performing technology solutions that are in alignment with Chisholm’s strategic goals to meet customer and student expectations and build a technology-oriented platform for learning and business services
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders and the IT development team to determine Chisholm’s technical requirements and assist in identifying and resolving technical problems with applications whilst prioritising needs. Engage with external stakeholders including Microsoft and all third-party vendor partners to ensure coordination of project activities
  • Evaluate program code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
  • Responsible for enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction by implementing critical and complicated technology improvements to business-critical applications and systems
  • Provide specialist knowledge and skills to build solutions and ensure the usage of optimal technologies consistent with Chisholm’s architecture
  • Recommend and implement performance improvements to systems and applications.
ABOUT YOU
 
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in the development of Microsoft SharePoint and custom .NET (C#, ASP) technology-based solutions, knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications and programming in SharePoint Designer.
 
You will have strong corporate Front End Web design/development experience with Hypertext Markup Language, (HTML) 5, JavaScript (jQuery and native), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3), Structured Query Language (SQL) and Active Server Pages (ASP.Net). Experience working as a Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Customer Relationship Management) on any version, a solid knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and have knowledge and understanding of SharePoint Application Program Interfaces (APIs) and architecture including experience with SharePoint web services API (including Representational State Transfer (REST)), SharePoint Client Object Modal (CSOM) and JavaScript Object Modal (JSOM).
 
Qualifications required for the role
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
