Tennis Australia is embarking on a phase of Digital Transformation, and we are looking for a dynamic Senior Change Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Unified Digital Experience program. This program is designed to enhance the way our grassroots community—Social and Competitive players, coaches, and tournament organisers—engage with Tennis in Australia.

About the role

As a Senior Change Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of change management strategies and plans to ensure the successful adoption, utilisation, and proficiency of our new digital systems. Your work will support our goal of delivering increased value, ROI, and achieving tangible outcomes across Tennis Australia's digital ecosystem, which includes web and mobile platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Stakeholder Management & Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders at all levels, understanding their needs and guiding them through the change process.
  • Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to ensure all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and supported throughout the transformation.
  • Organisational Alignment: Collaborate with leaders across the business to ensure alignment of change initiatives with organisational objectives and priorities.
  • Training & Skills Transfer: Design and execute comprehensive training plans to enable users to engage with new tools and processes effectively.
  • Operational Handover & Transition: Provide first-line support during the post-go-live phase and ensure smooth transition to operational ownership

About you

This is a hands-on role, requiring you to manage and execute all aspects of change for the assigned program stream. You will be responsible for conducting impact assessments, developing enablement plans, engaging stakeholders, delivering training, and providing post-go-live hypercare support.

You will bring extensive experience in change management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful change programs. You will possess exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with digital transformation.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience as a change manager in an agile environment, with expertise in Scrum or SAFe (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Previous experience in a Change Manager or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-disciplinary teams on complex digital projects.
  • Experience in producing artifacts such as communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
  • Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence is desirable.
  • Strong facilitation skills, capable of confidently conducting workshops with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive-level participants.
  • Superior stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and create alignment being critical.
  • Background in Technology, Events, Entertainment, and Business projects.
  • Experience managing multiple project types simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with business case and change management documentation.
  • Experience working closely with UX, UI, and CX teams is desirable.
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
