Expressions of Interest: Federal Government PMO | Major ICT Transformation

This vital Government agency facilitates the coordinated approach to Australia's domestic and international strategy across a range of key Federal capabilities. The sophisticated ICT systems and applications infrastructure that undergirds their activities, therefore, is an integral component of the robustness and effectiveness of their output on a national and global stage. 

The department is in the process of undertaking a major, multi-year ICT modernisation / digital transformation inititiave which will, amongst other things: uplift ICT program delivery capabilities, deploy cutting edge cyber security and identity management tools, architect and implement Cloud applications, ensure the robustness of data repositories, and review integration between exisiting systems.  

The department subsequently requires the skills of multiple technology project professionals to operate within their enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) across a range of disciplines including:

• Program Managers
• Project Managers
• Assurance Managers
• Program Support Officers
• Business Analysts
• Solutions Architects
• Change and Communications Officers

Given the sensitive nature of the information and data environment, the roles will be located full time on-site within the Canberra head offices. For the same reason, you will be required to hold an active (or recently active) NV1+ Australian security clearance. 

Strong preference will be given to professionals open to undertaking the positions in a full time / permanent capacity.

This engagement represents a unique opportunity to gain a foot-in-the-door to a multi-year, multi-million dollar cutting edge ICT digital transformation program within the department's flagship technology project group. Estimated project start: mid-September 2024.
