One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Penetration Tester with in-depth experience testing and investigating security infrastructure for enterprise environments. You will join a highly skilled technical team analysing IT systems to determine configuration weaknesses and faults that affect the departments security and business. The role can be based in Canberra, Queensland, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth with flexible working arrangements also available. The successful Penetration Tester will be offered a 12 month contract with a 24 month extension option.  

The successful Penetration Tester will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Lead cyber penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using relevant tools and methods against a variety of technologies.
• Effectively review reports, briefs and documentation and communicate technical findings and
• Provide highly technical subject matter expertise to system owners and stakeholders
• Conduct and lead complex threat simulation activities to identify weaknesses

Recommendations

The successful Penetration Tester will have experience in the following:

• Experience conducting web application penetration testing against complex enterprise platforms
• Demonstration of practical skills in a live assessment conducted on-site.
• Experience undertaking penetration testing against enterprise grade, infrastructure hosted on both Windows and Linux based platforms
• Experience working with system owners to develop a test scope, prepare for testing and ensure remediation has been completed effectively.
