A reputable Federal Government Department is seeking a skilled ICT Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical ICT components for a major business case. This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical project management expertise. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a 3-month extension option.
The successful ICT Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and delivery of ICT solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Conducting stakeholder consultations to map user requirements and develop system solutions.
- Overseeing market testing, procurement processes, and risk management for ICT solutions.
- Managing technical teams and contractors, including recruitment and task allocation.
- Ensuring best practices are followed in all aspects of project development and delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience managing ICT projects in government environments.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, system requirements development, and ICT procurement.
- Ability to lead teams and manage resources to meet project goals.
