About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate IT Operations Manager, with extensive networking and infrastructure knowledge, and great interpersonal skills to join our team. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to managing IT infrastructure and systems, cyber security, and supporting IT innovations to enhance operational teams and guest experience.

Your duties will also include;

• Ensuring reliability and security, leading and managing risk for the IT team, including data retention and cyber security and support business compliance.
• Manage IT projects, determining, managing and delivering IT infrastructure, operations, systems, applications, platform services and other technology-based solutions to meet business needs
• Oversee IT systems implementation through execution, including configuration, testing and change management including development of relevant policies and procedures to support and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Plan, develop, control, evaluate and drive IT communication strategy. Identify and recommend process improvements and new technology solutions that will further drive IT performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure IT systems are maintained, supporting operations team and departments to ensure integrity and accessibility of IT systems, data and information
• Develop and managing the IT budget and ensure it is consistent with the overall strategic plan
• Effectively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure all IT business needs are met
• Team leadership, managing and mentoring IT team, championing excellent internal customer service, and ensuring all network, servers and IT systems support is delivered to a high standard. Overseeing troubleshooting issues when they arise.
• Prioritise health and safety compliance and contribute to risk management initiatives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in a related field / equivalent experience
• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) is required for this position
• Proven track record of delivering strategic business objectives within budget / timeframe
• Strong experience within IT leadership roles, including management of multi-disciplinary team (covering helpdesk, networks, infrastructure, security etc.)
• Previous experience with the following technologies: Booking systems; POS systems; Time and attendance; Call centre; Payroll systems; Accounting / ERP systems; MS platforms including Teams; Cloud services / Technologies; Virtualization (VMWARE) ; Level 2 /3 helpdesk support
