Senior Cloud Engineer, Clerk Grade 9/10, Wollongong

About the opportunity

Play a key role in developing and supporting infrastructure-as-code solutions for the NSW SES core cloud platform. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with the Operational Systems Program to deliver scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. You will work within a cross-functional team, providing consulting services to both internal and external stakeholders, and developing well-documented, repeatable solutions using continuous delivery methodologies.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on Azure services.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance requirements, ensuring the security, availability, and scalability of cloud services.
  • Be skilled in developing infrastructure-as-code solutions and have a solid understanding of test-driven development and automation techniques.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to adhering to industry standards, including compatibility, security, and sustainability.
