The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) is seeking Intrusion Analysts and Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysts to support Australia's efforts to identify and respond to state-sponsored cyber threats.
About the Team
The Adversary Threat Intelligence (ATI) Section within the Cyber Intelligence, Threat and Disruption (CITD) Branch is responsible for understanding, detecting and analysing state-sponsored cyber activity targeting Australia. ATI uses a variety of data sources to undertake analysis of malicious cyber activity targeting Australia, and produces intelligence reports which inform the highest levels of the Australian Government. ATI’s analysis and reporting also enables a variety of response operations to mitigate malicious cyber activity. A range of formal and on-the-job training will be provided including unique opportunities available within the intelligence community. We support part-time and flexible working arrangements.
Our Ideal Candidate
Intrusion Analysts

This role offers candidates a unique opportunity to discover cutting edge cyber threats targeting Australia, with access to tools, data, information and expertise not available anywhere else in Australia. Intrusion Analysts are required to combine a broad range of technical skills with intelligence analysis skills and an understanding of key adversaries targeting Australia.
Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysts
Through access to unique intelligence sources, Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysts undertake collection and analysis in order to produce intelligence products focused on cyber actors – and their tools, techniques and procedures – who pose a threat to Australian Government networks.
