ICT Infrastructure Engineer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Systems Engineer to join our ICT team. Reporting into the Infrastructure Manager, you will primarily focus on project delivery (60%) and escalations/problem management (40%). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for driving improvements in system performance and security. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

Project Work  

• Lead and execute projects related to: 
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) setup across systems and applications. 
• Microsoft Security configuration for Office applications. 
• Deployment and configuration of server and application monitoring solutions. 
• Intune policy templates, app packaging, and patching rings setup and management. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. 
• Document processes, configurations, and project deliverables. 

Escalations and Problem Management 

• Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex issues. 
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring problems. 
• Provide mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams. 

You will have: 

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Level 3 Systems Engineer or similar role. 
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSE, ITIL) are a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
• Server Administration: Expertise in Windows Server 2019 and above, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. 
• Cloud Technologies: Strong knowledge of Azure and Entra (Azure AD). 
• Monitoring Solutions: Proven experience in setting up and managing server and application monitoring tools. 
• Active Directory: Proficiency with Active Directory, including managing multi-domain environments. 
• Operating Systems: Proficiency in managing Windows 10 and above. 
• Virtualization: Preferably VMWare 
• Experience with Linux environments (not essential) 
• Intune Management: Exposure to policy templates, app packaging, and patching ring configurations (not essential) 
• Solid understanding of networks (not essential) 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
